Frosted Vintage Baby Jars This is a darling 7-piece set of nursery jars from the 1940 -1950 era. The set is nestled in a white wooden tray with handle. The jars are softly frosted and are handpainted with a floral design. Each container is designated with one of the following words: Cotton Nipples Oil Jar tops are underpainted, meaning the underside of the lid has been painted rather than the outside. This is a charming custom from the period. The top of the "Oil" jar is a hobnail glass and has tiny flowers handpainted on it, as do the "Cotton" and "Nipples" jars. Such a unique set for a vintage nursery or a wonderful accent for the contemporary baby room.
