Vintage Baby Scale
Such an elegant accessory for your nursery! This very vintage piece is a 1950 beauty. Notice the precious face on the scale...so cherubic. I can almost feel the organdy curtains that originally graced this child's nursery!
The wicker basket has been given a new coat of soft white paint but everything else is just as I found the piece. Notice there are a couple of pieces of the wicker missing - but that in no way detracts from the charm of this accessory. A sweet satin ribbon woven through the wicker could easily conceal the opening, and I can add that if you like!
The scale itself is in excellent condition and weighs accurately. There is a 30 pound limit on the scale. You will also find a small knob which allows you to adjust the scale, so that the basket does not influence the accuracy. The metal portion of the scale is a soft yellow and is in vintage condition.
The Baby Face Wicker Nursery Scale could easily go in a boy's or a girl's nursery. It would be darling when filled with diapers, burp cloths, booties or even stuffed animals.
You can even use this as a pet scale for your "four-legged" baby!
